second AC on Cougar ?

Our 2016 Cougar X Lite is wired and braced for a second AC ,,, in the front bedroom. Does that go in place of the roof vent ? I'm asking because of very limited clearance to get it in the garage now. I know a can get a low profile AC but from what I have found, its still 8-9" tall.? Just wondered where I would measure to see total height ? Thanks,,,, Monkey

YES......AC Unit goes in same opening (14 x 14) for roof vent/fan

Brochure lists height of your FW at 11.92'
That would be to highest point on roof.....which is probably top of current roof top fan vent cover.

You would need to measure with tape, pole (2x2 etc) with FW fully hitched to truck
Lay pole etc on highest component and measure to ground

My front AC is highest point....13'4" (Full size AC Unit)

Low Profile will be close to 9" added height when installed

Thankyou Biscuit... Thats what I have found for low profile AC's is 8-9" . I guess that is totall height above the roof ??? I have 12 foot doors in the garage, and have about 4" when the rv goes in... Am thinking I'll need to do "something" to make it fit.... The front roof vent is not the highest point of the rv,,,, The original AC is the highest point... It "Might" fit....
