2017 Carolina Thanksgiving Get-Together
Our annual Carolina Campers Thanksgiving weekend will be at the Raleigh Oaks RV Resort, November 17 – 19, 2017. 15 full hook up camp sites are reserved for this event. Also we have the use of the Rally Room for 4 hours on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Please make your reservations by calling the campground at (919) 934-3181. Be sure to say you’re with the Carolina Campers. If our group reserves at least 11 sites, we’ll get a 12% discount, which will be applied at check-in.

A Thanksgiving themed Pot Luck dinner is planned for Saturday, November 18th. Please bring your favorite Thanksgiving dish/food to the pot luck and post what you’re bringing. I’ll post a list from the information provided. Also please let us know if you’re able to bring a turkey fryer (we may need a couple of them).
List (as I think I know it):- Beau & Connie - Site 205 - Stuffing and Sweet Potato Pie
- Bob & Denise - Meat Stuffing
- Bob & Sue - Ham
- Frank & Brenda - Site 204 - Butternut Squash and Cranberry Jello
- Frank & Mae - Vegetables (beans, peas, ect.) & a Cake
- George & Kathryn - Site 202 - Mashed Potatoes and Gravy
- George & Laraine - Site 201 - Turkey (approx. 12-14 lbs) & Chocolate Cream Pie
- Hank - Scallop Potatos
- Ken & Sally - Site 306 - 2 Pecan Pies
- Lee & Rita - Site 302 - Ham, Applesauce, Paper Products
- Mike & Colleen - Site 301 - Veggies
- Tom & Carol - Turkey
I'm thinking 2 turkeys is enough...

Carolina Camoers Thanksgiving
Rita and I are on site 302. We plan on doing a ham I know for sure. May do other things as needed. Looking forward to this. It was so much fun last year.

Sorry we will miss the Thanksgiving weekend.
Dee had an opportunity to go back to working a part-time position and took it..
Very good hours, every other weekend is six days off... But that ended up not being one of those weekends.

Don't know what site we are on but we have reservations for three nights. 17, 18 and 19th. We'll bring a turkey and cook it there.
