Connie and I have contacted Crooked Creek RV Park and have confirmed the dates, enter May 3 and exit morning of May 7. They have reserved fifteen (15) sites for us. All are on the lower level, numbered 79 thru 95. Sites 82, 83, 92, 94 are not available. All are pull thru and close to level, nothing extreme. Good services, but you should use a water pressure reducing valve. The area is clear so satellite can be accessed.
The web site is www.crookedcreek rvpark.org phone number 864-882-5040. We are listed as the Carolina Campers. They will take your reservation and if you think you would like a certain site hopefully it will be available.
Presently we have discussed Thursday night arrival cook out, We can set up grills and we will grill your meats and sides individually supplied.
Friday night going as a group to the Smoking Pig a very good BBQ restaurant, very popular. Located at 6630 Clemson Blvd, Pendleton, SC 29670. Web site www.thesmokingpigsc.com . I think it best to arrive around 5:00PM to avoid the crowds.
Saturday night the normal pot luck dinner.
Sunday left overís from Saturday night.
The camp ground is located on Lake Keowee a large fresh water lake. There is a boat ramp on the property and can be used to launch if you have a boat, kayak, jet ski etc.
The local towns have various shops that might interest the shoppers. The town of Clemson is about a half hour away and is very nice with shops of all types and the Campus of Clemson University. Greenville, SC is about 1 hour from the camp ground and is a very popular area and growing with the different companies located in the area. They have Antique Shops, Restaurants, waterfalls, hiking trails located in the foot hills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Sounds like a great weekend, as well as the air show in MB. Frank and I went to the Air Show in Cleveland, Ohio a couple years ago and really enjoyed it. Sorry we won't be there, but have fun and we will see you in the fall.

I forgot to mention Golf Cars in the above post. Per the CG they are allowed at no additional cost, but you must show proof of Insurance
They do have a small fleet of rentals available.

May 3rd sounds good to us. Hope we will be able to work it out. It is real close to us in Irmo so we will try to ride up and check it out.
