Wish we could attend.. L is recovering nicely from her recent surgery but not enough to travel yet. Hopefully we can make the spring rally.

I'm on D16 hidden between the two red rental cabins. Didn't get lunch so went downtown to grab a bite. See you around 5.

FINALLY I am able to make a post. I tried all day yesterday and this morning with no luck and then decided to try a different browser. It worked!

I have 4 gallons of Ed's soup, two pans of cornbread and a gallon of slaw ready to go. Sandy and I are leaving this morning, hopefully by 9, so we will arrive around 1pm. Site B8.

Eat a light lunch so you'll be hungry for dinner. You're going to like it .

Just like family

What a great week end!! We didn't feel like we were camping with new friends, we felt like we were camping with family. Thank you all for making us feel so much a part of The Carolina Campers. You may not want to hear this, but you're stuck with us now. The only request I might make is that we have a little more food in the future........

I believe this was the best Carolina Campers campout that we have been on. We had such a great time. We welcomed two new couples into the group, Tom & Carol from Richlands NC, and Bob & Becky from Raleigh NC. They fit right in. We went on a fright night, a good dinner night and great chatter around the campfire. Denise, Brenda and Carol were so funny they had us in stiches. Of course Bob Macky was his usual self with his short stories. I loved the company and time I had this weekend. Looking forward to the next outing, it will be a challenge to top this one, but we will try. Safe travels all until we meet again.

Wanted to add our thanks to everyone for making us feel so welcome. What a great outing! And Jadziah and Sebastian liked meeting all their new friends too. Sorry I had to be on the phone Monday morning and couldn't say a proper goodbye, but was really glad we worked it out and stayed until Monday. I'll e-mail those who I have e-mail addresses for with contact info since we don't have any RV cards yet. As rookie RVers we really appreciate all the little tips and tricks that are helping us get more enjoyment from our first RV faster. Looking forward to our next adventure with the Carolina Campers.

Someone was looking for a place to store their RV near Raleigh.
A fenced in lot near Cary town hall outside. $70/month.
The Garmon Family 919 4674-9902. Friends that are using it says it is a good place.

1killowatt, I gave them a call and the lady said she thinks they are full. Her son manages it and she'll have him call me back to confirm. Bob
