Carolina Campers Fall Rally

Hi everyone. The weekend of October 23rd at Twin Lakes RV, Chocowinity, NC we will be having our Fall Rally. The group rate is $29.00 a night. Call 252-974-2691 and tell them you are with the Carolina Campers. The girl I talked to was new so make sure they put you with the group. Frank and I are on site C-10 and will arrive Thursday, October 22, leaving Monday October 26. She blocked off several rows so we can be together. Bob(RVbuns) and Denise Fitta, Frank and I(bsirby) will be the hosts. We will caravan to dinner Friday night at a local restaurant to be determined, and pot luck Saturday night. I will try and get some info together for things to do in the area Saturday. Hope to see you all there. And as always, everyone is welcome. You don't have to live in the Carolinas to attend.

GREAT

Going to check my work schedule and check on some time off. Would be good to get together and stir the pot. Brent

Camilla and I will be attending her 45th High School Reunion in Fort Lauderdale Fl. that weekend. I am sorry that we will not be able to attend, the RV Park is only 6 miles from our house.

Sandy and I will be there. We've missed the last couple gatherings and it will be good to see everybody again.

Brenda, I'd like to feed everybody either Friday or Saturday night. I make something I call Ed's Soup that I know everyone will like. It's a cross between a soup and a chili and it always gets rave reviews. The spiciness is just right for kids or adults and I'm sure everyone will love it. Either night would be fine with me.

For something to do, there's the (weird) museum in Belhaven and the Fossil Museum in Aurora. We've been to the fossil museum and really enjoyed it. You can shovel up a free bucket of sand that will keep grand kids busy for hours finding small shark's teeth.

See you soon,
Ed, Sandy & Barney

Ed, it doesn't look like we will have a lot of folks here, so how about Friday night. Then we can go out Saturday. Do you need any of us to bring anything to go with your soup? Thanks for doing that. I'm sure we will all enjoy it. Looking forward to seeing you and Sandy again, and of course Barney.

Friday will be fine. I will make some cornbread, which is usually my only side when having Ed's Soup and Sandy says she will make some slaw. There's usually not room for desert, but if someone wants to add a desert or other side, that will be fine. I'll have bowls, spoons, napkins and etc. Everyone can bring their favorite drink and we should be good to go.

Whoever is choosing the restaurant for Saturday night should consider Ne'er Do Well in Washington. A friend that keeps his sailboat farther down the Neuse, says it really good. I checked reviews on Yelp and they were all good. Any 'ol dive is OK with us but check this one out when you're looking around.

We just made our reservation and are on site C-9. Coming in Thursday and leaving Sunday or Monday, depending on work. Looking forward to seeing some of the people we met this week in Nashville. Bob and Becky.

Looking forward to meeting you Bob and Becky. We hang out in Zebulon at our daughters when we aren't on the road.
