Overnight

Taking the long way to the National. Looking for an easy overnite west of Asheville. Going up 25 out of Greenville to Ashville then west. Ideas or suggestions?

Avoid KOA Asheville West unless you love traffic noise from I-40.

Thanks Dave, we try to avoid KOA anytime we can. "Keep On Adding" seems to be their way of doing business. Got bit a couple of times over the years and just don't stop at them any more.
We may end up going over the mountain thru Cherokee and just staying someplace else until our site opens at R Plantation. The last time we came through the Park it was rainy and we hung a limb that was sagging from the water on an AC unit. Didn't want to have a repeat of heart failure
