Just purchased 2009 Rockwood Camper Trailer and have restarted camping at Steele Creek campground near Henderson, NC. Was looking if anyone here ever stayed there on Kerr Lake.

My wife and I stayed a week on Kerr Lake a couple of years ago. I don't recall Steele Creek being at Kerr Lake. There is a Steele Creek Campground near Morganton, NC. We overnighted there once a few years ago.
Thanks for the offer to join in the camp in in April. Have Bass tournament at the lake that weekend and must get in some pre fishing prior to the tournament. Steele Creek Campground and Marina is located the area of Kerr Lake known as Little Nutbush. To get to Steele Creek Campground and Marina by land out of Henderson, NC take hwy 39 North to small town of Townsville, NC. Turn right at Townsville Road and continue on to end of state maintained portion of the road. Through the gate and to the left campground is on the right. Campground office is at the end of this road at the marina's store. At present time I am storing my rig at Wert's Storage facility on Hibernia Rd. near Hibernia state Campground a little ways down hwy 39 to right on Hibernia rd.
