I'll try to answer some of your questions maybe it is the same as my old 40DS04.
Put the fader back to center on the radio and put your ignition key in. Turn it to the left or Acc position ( not engine start) . You should now have sound upfront from the dash radio while parked ( front ceiling speakers).
Are you sure you have an electric door awning ? Mine was manual, assumed it was electric but not...
If you turn the booster ON (left Power button ) on the video switch and select ANT for any TV you should get antenna feed to the TVs. If you have original TVs in an 06, they will not pick up digital signals unless you add a Digital Tuner to each TV. You can then feed the antenna wire to the tuner (diconnect from TV) , then connect the tuner to the TV through RF cable or audio/Video cables. Should get now digital channels on the TV that has this digital tuner....every TV will need one.
The Winegard stock antenna will pick-up digital signals if the local stations transmit strong enough signals. There is a replacement Digital head for the crank up antenna available online. You raise the antenna, pull 2 pins out and disconnect the cable on the head once lifted, install the new one and reconnect the cable. Simple.
In theory the electric element in the Hydro-Hot will keep the boiler antifreeze at operating temperature and provide heat to the coach when plugged in shore power according to calls from thermostats. For storage this would be a waste....keeps the pumps running and fluid circulating in the coach for nothing...in my opinion....I would winterize the coach and blow the water lines with compressed air, put a trickle charger on the batteries and let it sit. If you use it during the winter, different story....
The Hydro-Hot system is a closed loop system that uses boiler antifreeze and is independent of the water system. When you have water in the coach it will provide hot water for every faucet and in parallel heats up the coach by circulating the heated antifreeze through heat exchangers within the coach and basement. The basement heater, usually located in the or near the water closet has a separate thermostat to prevent pipes from getting frozen when camping with water in cold climates. This assumes use of the coach and travel not storage...
Just my 2 C's....
