A/c unit

Any advice on what would be the best a/c until to buy? I have Duo therm now. I would like to replace both of them.

So that you don't have possible control compatibility issues, y ou need to stay with the same brand you currently have.

Thanks for all the good suggestions. You all are right.With keeping with the same brand until all the wires will be the same. Plus I will be able to keep my same thermostat.

It is my understanding the newer Dometic A/C units do not use the "older" 5 button T-stat. If so, this would require a replace too. However, the cabling remains the same. I don't have first hand experience with this, but read it multiple times (and it was on the internet so it must be true).


In any case, it is worth looking into before purchasing an new hardware. Good luck.
