Air dump

Do I need to hold down the air dump switch for a period of time or does momentary contact get enough pressure relief for corners?

Are you meaning tag dump? An air dump would be disastrous while driving

Air only dumps while holding down the switch below about 5 mph. Air also dumps while the trans is in reverse.
