Another Modification

Just wanted to share with my good friends here about a mod I did recently by accident.

I had to replace my plastic fan blade in the bathroom due to deterioration and noticed when I removed the cover around the fan that I could see daylight through the vent opening. Apparently this area was never insulated, or at least in my rig, and is the reason that I have always noticed that in the winter it was fairly cold and in the summer fairly warm in the bathroom.

I decided that I had to do something to insulate the frame around the fan opening so I had some leftover memory foam I had cut from a mattress and cut it to place it in and around the frame. It appears to have really made a difference and thus wanted to share with you all.

also a good use of left over material. That’s why we save all that old “junk”.

and if you throw that stuff away, you know you’ll need it or at least find a use for it within a week
