Another Shower Question!!

Well, I've just about had it with those lousy shower rollers! As a matter of fact, new rollers wouldn't help me. The holes are disintegrated to the point where they won't hold at all. Some I have had to put large washers on because they were so eaten away. So I'd like to change the entire shower, minus the pan. I have a 2007 Alante. Do you think Entegra shower enclosures would fit my pan? Any help would surely be appreciated! Maybe someone out there has done this!

I think it will work although I am not familiar with the Alante I can't imagine they would use a whole different enclosure shower for it. Just double check with them at Entegra. Also a note. If you are anywhere near Elkhart I would arrange picking it up either at Entegra or the place in Elkhart that distributes them. Also remember you have to order thru a dealer, Entegra will not sell to customers.

Looks like my shower troubles might finally be over! I called Shower Enclosures of America and they are shipping me a new enclosure! The part number that you gave me has been discontinued, but he made sure the one they ship will fit my pan. The new shower will be a frameless shower. Price for shower was 350.00, shipping 150.00! I could have picked it up if I was going to be near Indiana, but that wasn't gonna happen.

Well, shower is installed and have used it a couple times. Don't know why I waited so long to do this! The enclosure was a perfect fit and the install went great, and it was the first time I ever did this. Just be sure to put a good bead of caulk. The instructions didn't show putting any on the frame at the base on the inside, put I had a leak on each corner at the wall. Once I put silicone on the inside rail, it was watertight! Thanks to Traico at Shower Enclosures for all his help!

I have a few serviceable door rollers from a 2007 42DS04 shower enclosure. Free to whoever needs them.
