Anywhere in STL area to get X-bracing done?

Hi everybody,
We are just now picking up an '02 TS Select 41 and are looking for anywhere in the St Louis area to get the X-bracing done.
We will be driving to San Diego for the winter, and could stop at one of the shops in Phoenix that do it, but I'd rather have it done pre-trip if at all possible. Driving up to Indiana is not an option unfortunately.
The coach definitely has the flexing issue, as the front windshield seal is currently popped and needs to be replaced as well.

These forums are great, all of the information that everyone here contributes is wonderful for those of us who are new and shiny.

Thanks
Jim & Colette

Bummer, I just talked to their service department and although quite cheerful, the technician knew nothing of the X-brace repair and they also do no welding there. Any other leads would be appreciated!

Any decent welding shop can do the X-Bracing if you have the schematics. Last I heard was Bishop's RV service in Indiana will sell the schematics. Don't know the name of his business but it can be found on this site, just ask the question on this thread.

You might contact the folks at etrailer.com. They are physically located in Wentzville, MO and might be able to help you out.

Jim, the distance to Elkhart is less than 400 miles. Are you kidding? Why did you buy this coach if you aren't going to drive it? Stop by Elkhart on the next trip eastward.

I work in STL and live in SAN. I'll be picking up the coach after work on a Thursday, driving the 1800 miles west back to San Diego, and flying back to STL for work on Sunday night. No time in there for an extra 800 miles :(

R Mechanic In Livermore CA can do the xbracing for you, about 400 north of San Diego. I have a 2009 TS that they service, my coach has the stock xbracing and I have sent out alot of photos to TS owners. Larry from CA larry@larrydaly.com
