Extra key fob for outer cabinets?

I'd like to have an extra key fob in case something happens to my original. I'm told the company went out of business. Has anybody else tried to locate one?

Do you know the name of the remote key fob manufacturer?

I do not. When I get it back from the shop (Spartan chassis check up) I'll find out and repost.

The most common remote entry system is TriMark. The TriMark system in our MH failed, was obsolete so my extended service contract had an entirely new system installed. It did have a flaw however, it would backfeed the porch light and blow a fuse. I had to install a diode in the 12V line from the porch light to the OEM rocker switch to stop the backfeed.

I had a Tri-Mark too. I replaced it with one from a1 electric. the unit with 2 FOBs was about $125. it was easy to replace the existing module. I had a 42 TSS before our current 45 TSS. I bought a car remote unit from EBAY for $35 with 2 FOB's. it worked well too, but took a day to figure out the solenoids since no cross wiring diagram was included.
a1electric.com is the website for the one with wiring diagram.

By key fob I'm talking about the one that unlocks all of my outside compartments. Is this the remote system you are referring to?

yes, the remote control module interacts with the FOB. the FOB must be matched to the remote module (like garage door openers). If you could find a FOB for your system then you maybe able to program it to work with your remote control module.
you may not, some have had problems. I had to update my keyless entry keypad so I changed the remote control module at the same time.
