Flat towing a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Greetings,
Anyone out there towing a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee ?
Does the steering column lock on 2018-2019 models ?
Considering purchasing a 2019 asap, Blue Ox states they are not sure that
the base plate that works on a 2018 will work on a 2019 .
Does anyone have any input on this subjecy ?

Steering columns have not locked since 2009.
Blue Ox used to have a program for new models in which you drove to Pender, NE and they would use your new model for building a template. I did this a few yrs. back, gave me a car to drive for a couple of days and a new aventa ll tow bar in addition to the base plate and wired my jeep. All I paid for was gas and motel. First one there with a new (towable) model wins!
