front air pressure guage at zero

Hi folks need some input , went to fire up my 2007 Me rig all went well except the front air gauge remained at Zero everything aired up fine, I checked no air leaks, I plugged in a spare cluster and it to showed zero , I am thinking maybe its the pressure sensor or a problem with the message bar.
Any thoughts
Thanks

I think it is most likely your sender. I have been battling this on my ME. Try a new sender. It will most likely fix the problem. I have resorted to installing a new set of mechanical air gauges. Yes they are not tied into the gauge cluster but they can at least give me comfort the air pressure is proper. I have installed probably 6 senders and a new gauge cluster, no luck. Way too many hours trouble shooting with no luck.

Swap the sending units. If the problem changes systems you have found the culprit.

FOOTNOTE - my front air pressure gauge was always low...the father of the owner of my local shop I use for repairs came out of retirement....he's a certified Spartan & TS Trained tech. He did some checking and found an old recall from years back about a "regulator" or some type of control (not the dome shaped ones) that went bad. He pulled them....and now I have good pressure on all gauges. The pressure was always there but way understated on the gauges.

ME and other Air Sending Unit Part numbers

RT-41...see my other posts on this.

https://www.irv2.com/forums/f25/stew...-a-644554.html

Easiest way to check the unit is to swap the wires as that's easier than unscrewing the units. I gave the part numbers in those posts. I carry a spare now. It's insurance should one of them fail...which they do after a few years or so.
