Angry Here we go again... Again

Hi all...
well.. We are in Holbrook AZ on our way to Lake Havasu to start our annual snow bird trip!
Well yesterday morning in Raton NM we were going to go out of the coach to walk the dog etc.. And we were locked in!
I thought the dead bolt hadn't released all the way but no... My dog Oliver was dancing around and I couldn't open the door... I finally took the inside release handle off and managed to get the door latch to release by prying on the release rod.. I managed to get the rod pivot aligned some and it is working but suspect the latch may be going bad...
Who sells that.. Is it a PTL part or some other seller?
Any lead would be appreciated..
Thanks in advance..
Ron

Ron, mine is PTL. You have now joined the fraternity of being locked out/in! There are a number of us that have experienced this in the past.

The deadbolt pin has broken in the past jamming the door in the locked position.

Did you use the remote lock last night and if so are your batteries above the 10vdc minimum to operate the remote lock?

Here's an interesting post: http://www.irv2.com/forums/f274/door-handle-316908.html

I've also read on other forums about the mechanical stop at the top of our doors jamming and stopping the door from opening. If this happened I would think the bottom would swing out several inches before stopping.

Good luck to ya, and hope you see "the bridge" soon!

My Coach an 04 standard Travel Supreme and the remote lock has never worked.... So that wasn't it... I am going to try PTL Friday as tomorrow is the last travel day... Will call Friday.. Don't need another one of those surprises...
Thanks for the link to the handle stuff.. Will try to inspect all of the "Stuff" carefully so I don't have to get into this again..
All this and only 16 years old...
Thanks for the input..
This is our 7th season seeing the bridge.. But our first without our pontoon.. My back just won't let me launch and retrieve the boat by myself anymore...
Oh well.. We will be there for the balloon fiesta..
Ron
