We have to settle for the living room slide being tilted down a little too far or the coach being tilted to compensate. (TS 2002 38' DSO2)
How is the slide out floor level determined. It has been this way since it was manufactured I believe as we have had the unit for 5 years. It may be getting a little worse or we are just more sensitive, not sure which.

I am not familiar with the slide out mechanism used in the TS trailers out of memory. Is your slide a flush floor type.. that appears tilted slightly when the slide is almost finished going out. (there is no ramp from the subfloor to the slide floor.. perfectly level/flush).. or does the slide stay above the floor and simply slide in and out?

Ours should be the same or very similar to yours, a 38ks01. I'd expect that the outboard plate the slide arms attach to needs to be repositioned relative to the slide arm. The slide mechanism appears to be very similar to a Newmar, so a Newmar dealer should be able to make the adjustment. I'd expect that it will involve jacking the extended slide up and back into a level position and retightening the arms. This Newmar slide manual will help you understand how the slides work. There are many similarities between the brands. The other option is to go to an Entegra dealer as it is the current name of the manufacturer. Many parts are the same & they are helpful answering questions on the older units.

Is it possible that the slide just isn't going out far enough? If not, the bottom will contact the wall but the top will still have a gap.

Or the other way around, On my main slide (Different RV) the top hits first,, ,by design and for good reason.

A dealer may be able to either

1: Adjust it
or
2: Tell you how

I might be able to do it eyes on but.. I hesitate to do so since I am not insured for that.

Oops I got it backwards. My slides do contact the wall first at the top then the bottom is driven out/in until the controller senses a stalled motor's high current draw and shuts off. If the controller is set too low it will not allow the motor to drive the slide out/in far enough to make contact with the wall on all sides. Too high of a setting and the motor will break the shear pins. Been there, done that.

Bob,
My coach looks just like yours from the picture. It sounds like the motor may be shutting off a little too soon thus not driving the bottom out far enough. I have an idea what to look for the next time I take it out.
