K3/K2 Spartans w/rear air leak.

On my recent visit to Cummins Coach Care in KC for annual service, I had them check for air leak in rear suspension and they came back with this:

Spartan Motors Chassis, Inc. Service Bulletin CSB12-350-001 has determined a defect relating to ratio valve that may exist in certain vehicles. Air may be escaping around the seal of the ratio valve control port diaphragm. Applies to vehicles assembled by Spartan Motors Chassis, Inc as motorhome chassis between vehicle dates of manufacturing of 9-30-2004 and 6-5-2012.

If you TS owners with 45' K3 or K2 tag chassis (not the MM) experience somewhat rapid deflating of rear suspension upon parking (without dump), then this may help you.
There is also another bulletin for K3 only CSB13-350-001 relating to replacing the nut on the bottom of the air bag to a locking nut.

Both are listed as service bulletins and not a recall.

If in doubt as to a fix, call Spartan.

Just a heads up, hope this helps.

This fix totally fixed my squatting rear that always occurred in a short time, about 1 hour. Still standing tall for 4 days and counting.
