Mystery panel

I found a upholstered panel in each of the storage compartments by the drivers and passenger seats. what are these for? Our new 45 select and our last 42.5 select both had these.

As I was told, they serve 2 purposes.
1. On the passenger side there a couple of things mounted (on my coach) under them, so they protect the wiring.
2. (The Duh moment for me) They serve as magazine rack type things so that maps, magazines, books don't curl, get lost in the abyss, or end up with rounded pages, etc.

They are supposed to lay in the "pocket" so they slant up and out toward you, making it easy to pick up the map, book, magazine, etc.

Hope this helps,

Drew
