Hi, I would like to introduce myself as a new member of the Travel Supreme Forum. I am also a member in the Itasca/Workhorse Forum. We have been bringing our M/H to South Texas for the winters but got tired of the drive and fuel prices. I bought an older 98 TS 5er M-36-RLTSO
That is like new condition. Idon't plan on moving it but leaving it on my lot here in the Rio Grand Valley. I have all the books for everything in the trailer except a schematic of the cable wiring in the entertainment center. I cannot get the satelite to work by using the outside sat hookup. I also can't get sat on the bedroom TV. Does anyone know where I can find the schematic for the cable configuration. In the bottom right cabinet I have a Sat Prep outlet and on the interior wall of the cabinet I have a 3 way splitter and a 2 way splitter and a A-B slider swith all with cables going to them.
So far (Only a week) we love the extra room and the layout of the trailer. Guess I will try to sell the M/H when we go back to Ms in april.
If anyone can give me any info or help in this matter or where to go to get help it would be greatly appreciated.

Call Travel Supreme with your serial number. It may take a little while as they are short handed since they laid off so many folks but they should be able to get you a schematic of your trailer(mine is included in the back of the owners manual). They are very good to help those of us with older units at the factory. Congratulations, hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoy ours. just my 2 cents. Gene

The coax ends were not done right back then also a/b box has lifespan. Best way to test is put a dvd player outside at sat in and play a dvd. This will help you troubleshoot

I will try to remember this from my old and sold 1999 TS. You should have (I hope if it was ordered) an extra Cable entrance plug outside marked "satellite" rather than "cable". If so, step one is done. That is where you connect the satellite wire from your LNBF. If not, you are going to have to build one with an exterior fitting and new RG6 cable coming into the entertainment area. Can be done as I did it on my new 2005 TS.

Next - the A/B switch as I recall was to switch between TV and VCR. The other cabeling takes the selected output of this and sends it to the entertainment center TV and the bedroom TV and also to the VCR.

What i did was disconnect the VCR totally, take that end of the cable to the back of the DISH and then used that switch to be TV (or antenna?) and DISH on the A/B sides. I also (for a better picture) directly connected the back of the dish thru the S-video or RCA cables directly to the back of the TV.

As you can see I am not remembering exactly but you can lay down there for a while and make a drawing while pulling on wires and havng your partner tell you what is moving in the entertainment section. Those that are not antenna and satellite in (you can tell these easily if still connected/labeled) are all heading to the bedroom as output. The A/B switch is critical to sending things back.

I spent at least an hour figuring this all out but I gave everything to the guy who bought my RV. You can do it and if you can't your grandson sure can if you take him to the ball game.
