Sanitizing Fresh Water Tank on 40DS04

Still learning as we go, I know I can introduce sanitizing solution to all water lines using the 'winterizing' pick up valve to fill the lines only, but none goes into the tank using this method. The only way to add water (or solution) to the fresh water tank I have found is by the city water hose on the reel, or the hose inlet without the hose, to a tap, there is no simple 'pour it in' route like our last unit.

I'm hoping to do a good cleaning this spring once everything thaws. I have visions of trying to drain the hose, pour bleach in then flush it into the tank, hoping for a proper dilution.

Thanks in advance for any better suggestions?

Doesn't your MH allow filling the water tank from the city water inlet?
If not... how do/can you fill your tank?
If you can fill from city water you can use the winterizing pick up to pressurerize the water system and simply open the city water tank fill valve. At least that how most are plumbed.

Thanks, I will have to give the pressurizing method a try, not sure I will get much solution into the tank but any is better than where I am at now. The only way I can add city water is to thread the hose on, my older Bounder allowed me to just stick the hose in a line to fill the tank, which allowed for me to pour the bleach solution in.

No winterizing valve / hose?
