SeeLevel Up Grade Tank Monitors

Finally getting around to posting this after 8 mo.
Had the normal problem with the "dirty" probes in black (mainly) and grey tanks, because of their mounting position on the sloped portion of the tanks at the outlet end. Never were reliable and a total pain.
Went to he SeeLevel system and dual panels, one replacing the original panel in the bath area and added a second panel in the water bay area for convince.
This is a very easy upgrade to the old KIB in tank probes and panel many of us TS owners and many others have. The original panel is replaced using existing wiring to the KIB panel. I added a second panel in the water bay which is a simple wire splice.
Hope this helps...

The added blue/red pex and valves are for this (WaterBoss 700 softener that fit in the forward bay, driver side), which was a great addition too...the wife loves it.

Great job Rob. Now I know I have to schedule a visit to the Ozarks, so you can assist me with a sea level install.

Did the same upgrade with a remote panel in the wet bay. Excellent addition, easy install using the existing wiring to replace the old panel.

Ahoy Sailor Lou...
No pics, but it was an easy mount on the door side of the tank compartment. Need to remove the storage compartment panels in the door side compartment ahead of rear axle. Usually just a few screws (hidden by being embedded in carpet trim). There you can access the water tank probes as well as the vertical sides of the holding tanks. With this access you can access the fresh water tank probes and wiring, which you can use for wiring the SeeLevel sensors. The SeeLevel sensors are a 3M backed adhesive sensor board that needs only to be applied to the outside of the tank(s) and can be cut to the proper height of your application. Very simple. The SeeLevels only use 2 wires for all the probes, plus 12v +/- for power. Just 4 wires and there are plenty of options here. Power can come from any source and can use the existing source at the OEM panel in the bath area where most TS's have them.
This is a very simple upgrade, but some wire tracing is necessary, but once you fined the correct loom/wires it is a slam dunk. The wires are there and TS did a great job of concentrating/grouping them...at least in mine. There may be some color/size change in the wires because TS over sized the wire loom to the stock panel area with larger wires than necessary, but the colors were the same on each end of the loom and consistent.
Why they put the stock probes in the sloped end of the holding tanks I have no idea...maybe thinking they would clean better, but instead they caught debris.
This SeeLevel fix is great and fool proof.
