Shower drain pipe access?

I searched this forum, but since my computer has been put up for over a month, sacrelidge for an IT guy, but we've been rather busy for that past 2+ months. My Google-fu is rusty. I hate working off a telephone, too. I need a real keyboard!

Has anyone accessed the shower drain pipes in a 45' machine? I have leaks in those couplings, and there appears to be zero path to said drain pipes. Given all the other loose stuff I've found, I'm not the slightest bit surprised if it is that simple.

Sure, it's dripping on what appears to be a very large weave fiberglass. Then down the water pipes on to the top of the boiler. So, it never gets to the carpet, as the boiler is on metal with a drain. Never gets to the boiler's internals, either.

It's possible the shower valve, like the two sink faucets, is tired and requires parts, but it leaks only when in use, so this points me to the drain.

Thanks!

Kelly

BTW, preliminary shower feedback from my Lovely Wife points to the low-temp cutoff switch fixing the lack of more than 45 seconds of hot water. Woo-hoo!

Had a pipe that was "cut" by the half moon bracket it was sitting on to raise it off the floor right under the drain pan. Someone didn't think about that the point of the metal bracket will eventually cut through the black abs.

Anyway, wife convinced me to call the "experts". They said 2-3 months to remove the shower to fix it. Well we live in the RV so that wasn't going to work.

Fixed it by cutting sections of the black pipe out since it exits (sort of) under the back bed. Couldn't fit a straight pipe of 8' back so used 1 1/2" flexible PVC that they use for swimming pools and a couple of heft rubber joiners with clamps. Took about an hour and a half.

Not sure where your leak it but hope this helps...

Good to know!

I took the plate off the shower wall, and both hot and cold joints at the faucet merely need tightening.

However, there is zero room. I see TV and wall panel removal in the very near future. Like, tomorrow.

Woo-hoo! I found my small channel lock pliers, and being small, I tightened the incoming lines in the wall. Head still drips a little, but getting a new cartridge today.
