Settling has caused the paint stripes to no longer line up, and the wall opening to sag (slightly). Like Paul Conley said, the best way to fix this to cut off the top of the slide all. So, I went with Paul Conley's recommendation and trimmed off the 11/16" off the top of the slide wall.
The top of the slide wall was pretty easy to cut (a combination of 1.25"x1.25" square aluminum tubing, fiberglass, and some thin wood). To make the cut, I used a piece of aluminum angle, clamped to a circular saw, to use as a guide across the top of the slide wall. I cut off 11/16" from the top of the slide wall. Took about 2 hours to do, with the assistance of a SkyJack.
I would have had this work done by Paul Conley, if I was able to make it to Wakarusa, IN. But we won't be in that area until August, so I did it with some help from friends.
You won't even see the top of the side once I put the slide awning back on. So I'm not too concerned about making the trim piece look perfect.
