Recently on a trip out I noticed my day time running lights were not on. I had this happen before and I disco'd the connections on the smart wheel controller and it seemed to sort things out and then it did it again. So I removed the controller took the cover off to check the contacts and saw one that did not look so good so decided to call spartan. My controller had a part number of 2165-NN2D. I called spartan and they said the new number is 2562-NN2B-V00. So I ordered one, they charged me 380.00 and 27.10 and 29.45 tax for a grand total of 436.55. So far this seems to have corrected the intermittent day time driving light problem. This controller is made for the two spoke style steering wheels. One weird thing was I found out that my day time lights were not on because when i turned on my head light switch the right hand turn signal indicator on the dash stays on and does not blink when I indicate a right hand turn, I had gone out to see what was going on and my head lights were not on...Still have not figured out what is making me have a problem with my turn signals, anyone out there had this and have a clue? The smart wheel controller did nothing for the turnsignal/headlight switch problem...
