X-Bracing for 05 TS Select in local area

I just recently purchased a used 2005 Travel Supreme Select...and have experienced my first windshield pop out of the rubber gasket. Is there another provider of the X-Bracing system somewhere on the east coast? Elkhart is over a 14 hour drive for me. Right before I bought the RV, the owner said that he hit a bird and it cracked the windshield...but it really looked like the flex issues that I have read on this forum. Please let me know, I would like to get this taken care of ASAP.

14 hours doesn't sound like much to me...I think I'd head for Elkhart and get it done right!

I second what Bob said. This is an important and critical fix and needs to be done right. My windshield was broken when I got the unit new(T.S. was already out of business) and I went striaght to Elkhart and Bishop to get it fixed right BEFORE I put the new windshield in. As a bonus, Bishop got the new windshield for way less than half of what it would have cost from any of the places around here. $500 instead of $1200. just my experience and opinion. AND NO YOU ARE NOT SEEING DOUBLE, BOB AND I HAVE COACHES JUST ALIKE.

I drove all the way from Calif. to have this repair done. I know before I had it done the window popped out several times. Fortunately the insurance paid for it the first 2 times. Once you get it done just watch where you go that you don't over stress the chassis. Let the automatic leveling jacks do the work for you. I learned that the hard way. Otherwise you should be good to go. Good luck.
