X Bracing - Where and how much??

Was thinking about upgrading to a Country Coach the past month we've had our eye on, till the wife said, "nope...I love what we have and not letting go". So, time to go spend some paycheck and do tires and X Bracing. I see some of you going to Bremen and Bishop. We won't be there till July for FMCA convention. But where else have you had it done? And how much was the cost (this is my main interest). Ran into an '06 Select owner this past weekend and what he paid I almost had to change my pants after hearing (but I think his numbers were wrong). Since we full-time and move quite often, location isn't a concern.

If location is not an issue, no question, i would go to Paul's RV in Wakarusa, IN. I've had the x-bracing and windshield hoop done there. I can tell you from experience, you will not believe how much better the coach handles and how quiet it can be without all the flexing.

It's pretty well documented on the forum that I've had extensive mods done by Paul and the guys. I won't take my coach anywhere else.

Thanks... I may look into that option. Do you recall what he charged for the x-bracing?

I done the X bracing myself and got Paul to do the hoop around the windshield and I think I had $1500 in material and labor doing the x bracing

I am considering purchasing a 2006 Travel Supreme SELECT 42DS04 that does not have the X bracing. Can someone give me a general idea of the cost to have it installed? Looking for a ball park idea of what to expect. Thanks.

Neighborhood of $2500-3000 at RV Service by Paul in Bremen, IN. He does some critical bracing on an angle up front.
