Bottom right side underneath is a T handle. Pull it and the generator will come out half way. On the right side rail there will be another T handle, pull that and it will come out the rest of the way. Generator is heavy so the second part is hard. Easier to get inside and push the cowl with your back. Also spray the HECK out of all the sliding rails with silicone. Most have never been spayed, they are up front where they catch all of the road dirt.
I have flushed the rails with parts and brake cleaner first, followed by silicone spray. Another reason I don't drive in heavy rain anymore.
