15 CS - Question on Cleaning Fresh Water Tank

Wanting to drain/clean fresh water tank. Looks straight forward after reading the manual and I have done it on other coaches without Aqua-Hot.

Question: Is there any hot water or Aqua-Hot bypass to be considered and if so where is it?

Thanks all.

I do not know of a bypass or a shut off. Here are the recommendations from Aquahot. Short term use of disinfectant is ok according to them.

My Cornerstone has a bypass circuit to prevent any cleaning efforts from getting into the AquaHot itself. it is pretty obvious. There is an "H" circuit right above the AquaHot. There is a brass shut off valve on the intake water for the AH, and an identical brass shut off valve in the outflow pipe of the AH. Then there is a third shut off valve in the center of the "H" configuration that again is turned off or on. If you want to bypass, I turn off both inflow and outflow valves and turn on the bypass valve between the two. That prevents anything you do in the cleaning from going through the AH.

Now, I dont think that my 15 Anthem had that bypass system in it, but this Cornerstone certainly does. And it is quite obvious just looking at the piping right above the AquaHot case.

I use this method every 6 months with no issues. I use the 50ppm ratio and let sit for exactly 4 hours.
