'17 Insigna Tecma Toilet Troubleshooting
We are experiencing an intermittent issue where the mid ship Tecma silence macerator toilet will not flush, even though the control panel is showing a green light. The first time, I disassembled the toilet and found NO blockage and the toilet began working fine. This lasted for approx. 24hrs and then the same toilet would not flush, nor ad water to the bowl with the green light showing on the panel. Approx. 3-4hrs later, the toilet flushed with no problem with no maintenance actions being performed.
Anyone ever seen anything like this? If so, what was the fix?
I sent an email to Entegra, but with it being the Holidays figured I would try here.

Thank you in advance!

Definitely could be the controller...which of course isn't a cheap part and wish I could verify for troubleshooting prior to spending close to $300.
Found the controller at a decent price here....

Amazon for even cheaper of less than $230.

I have seen others report that a new controller has fixed this issue on their RV.
I too have a 2017 motorhome with a Tecma. So far so good. But I do read every Tecma thread that comes along here.

We have been stationary for a month, so not sure heat is an issue, at least with ours considering temps in South East Georgia lately.

I have been stationary for 4 years, dehumidifier and fans running to keep air circulating. I have had more electrical failures than any analog coach would have in 10 years from heavy use. Components get cheaper and cheaper to where they fail for no reason.

We had this issue with our 16 Anthem and heat either traveling on hot days or sunshine on coach on hot days . A simple test is to unbolt the toilet and place the controller on the floor ( plenty of wire & space between wall ) replace toilet and over a few days check if issue continues or is resolved . Controllers were impossible to source a few years ago and our toilet operated just fine for almost 3 months before we could get a new controller .
Good Luck !

Seems to be "heat" related from running the Aqua Hot Floor Heat. The intermittent issue occurs in the morning when we wake up after a night of using the floor heat. This is in the mid-ship and in our coach that is probably where the floor heat works the best. After we turn the floor heat off, a few hours later the toilet will work as advertised. The South Georgia weather is great where it will be 60F+ during day and 33-35F at night...so we have been using floor heat at night and then turn it off when it warms up.
I have another controller on the way from Amazon, so will report back when it arrives. Trying to limit the removal/install of the toilet as I have recently had lower back fusion surgery (for the 2nd time).
Thanks again for all of the assistance and as normal, iRV2 and its contributors have lead me down a solution path.

I did not need to remove the rear toilet, just the cover , dig out the insulation then the controller, then plug back in multiple wires, the short wire took few minutes of fiddling.
