18 Anthem engine bay

So we all have issues with the silver tape flapping around. My background is hvac owner. In that business by code we have to use duct sealant over silver tape. If it can withstand heater temps then engine bay is not much different. Got me thinking why not use sealant on the tape in the engine bay. So I did. I used a brush for easy to reach and then tapped the brush to a pole to reach way back there. I also crawled underneath to get another angle on some of the tape. Duct sealant can be bought at Home Depot etc. took maybe thirty min start to finish.

Very nice. That should keep that tape in place for a long time.

That looks much more finished than just tape. I’m confident it will reduce the heat admitted to the rear cabin as well.

FYI, if your picture is a rectangle, it will always be oriented horizontally. If you can crop it to a square, then you will be able to post it as desired.
