We just got back from a trip with the Entgera and the #2 heat pump keeps flipping the circuit breaker. I haven't looked inside it yet. Has anybody else had this experience and can give me some pointers before i start taking it apart?

No I haven't tried it on cool yet. I'll try that a little later today and see what happens.

You are probably going to be getting a new A/C, the unit is sealed and cannot be repaired. Mine started acting the same way with the heat pump and then I noted no A/C. Nothing can be done to repair and Axcel/Colman will not help with the problem or return a call.

Last night the unit seemed to work again. I don’t know why it’s hit or miss but it is.

Mine did that in month 19 of warranty and MHS replaced it under warranty thankfully.

How many amps is it drawing? Mine were doing the same thing, but an electrician at Taylor Tours in Anthem, Arizona, which owns 39 Prevosts contacted Entegra, and he rewired the breakers so that they wouldn't be sharing a backplane with another load in the same breaker. Entegra uses tandem breakers, each has its own toggle*switch, and the*breaker*snaps into the panel just like a regular*breaker. A tandembreaker*supplies*two*separate 120-volt circuits. After the loads were separated for my problem ACs, I had no more problems. This may not be your specific problem, but thought I'd post my experience.

Dave, I have had a problem like that but while on A/C. It was the park with over 100 degree temps and every coach had all of their A/C's running at the same time. Could the park you were in everybody running electric space heaters?

I don't think so Chuck but it's possible. Within the next week or so I'll be looking closer at it. For now it seems to be working and I'm currently land locked with the business so it's going to wait.

When my #1 AC blew, it did not trip the breaker, but the compressor was not froze up, just lost all the Freon.
When I was popping breakers was park power problem with all the AC in the park running at full blast. I hope that was your situation.
