The ice machine door drink fountain was freeze busted and the water filter cartridge housing had a line blown off of it I started looking for parts. 200 bucks later on a 10 year old fridge I opted for a new one.
No rusty shelves and back in warranty. The last thing I want is to pull this thing out all the time and work on an old dinosaur so we upgraded.
At the advice of Brobox we also pulled the washer to see if it was freeze busted and luckily it was in good shape.
And since we have it out of the hole new belts and hose washers are going in.
I keep thinking the final assembly is coming but it appears the more we test the more we find.
The great thing about this is we are really eliminating the myth of these coaches being complicated. They aren’t.
While the fridge was out we
Killed all of the fittings from the water filter to the fridge and made one home run line so no chance for leaks other than the point of beginning and the end.

Yes,
Step one remove fridge doors
Step two remove fridge hinges
Step three remove passenger seat
Step four use towels and tape to cover anything that might get bumped while extracting * door handles, etc..

All I’m going to say is that since 2011 I sincerely hope they hired an audiophile and ocd wiring organization individual for the home entertainment
In my life never seen such a rats nest of coax and component cables mixed with speaker wire and a side of fm antenna wire.
Good my Jesus!
Lol. Funny but serious. I’m tearing it back to where I can get it tucked in properly in the grossly undersized e-center
Today!
Been dreading it

Ladder standoffs
Ladder standoff boss
Put them on a grinder with a wire brush to get rid of the flaking chrome
Due to time and impatience rather than have them powder coated we opted for the rubberized undercoating

Mark,
Based on posts throughout the last few years regarding the poor organization of wiring throughout the Coach, it looks as though the same person/s that wired yours are still gainfully employed on the production line.

Wow!
It’s a common problem
Even in boats
They zip tie wires together where there is no access and let them run free where looming and organization is needed.
Makes for a nightmare scenario
Encasing the wires in pvc would make it so nice to pull new wire.
At least don’t ziptie or lock them down where there is no access without putting a razor to the membrane.

Pulling my hair out today for about 12 hours and finally just conceded that I’ve got more work ahead of me.
The basement audio/video distribution center is 100% composite cables
Yellow
Big Red, Blue, Green
Smaller Red/White L-R audio
Big Yellow Video source
I’ve toned them out.
I know where each group of component cables go
1. Exterior Tv
2. Living room tv
3. Bedroom tv
4. Upfront tv
Well we upgraded the tv’s to newer models that do not have component video as this is a past tech.
No problem right?
Just buy the nifty component to HDMI conversion boxes right?
WRONG.
Nothing no signal whatsoever.
However, I can hook the yellow video up to the analog RCA on the back of one of the TV’s and get the video feed from the DVD player in the Living room but, the signal sucks and it is not even close to being the correct resolution of pic quality.
I’m struggling here. I think after 35 years of wiring audio/DC/AC I know dang well I’m not crazy.
Ok, enough of the labor pains. Let me give you the kid.
New tv’s all around
All HDMI
HDMI out to the TV works from DVD on all sets (verified)
Component out form DVD to distribution box to send signal to the input side of the box
Then there are 4 outputs on that same box. Tv1,2,3,4
Behind each TV I installed the powered conversion box so Component in on one side
HDMI out to TV on the other side of the box.
Power is verified.
NO SIGNAL
Question: is the limiting factor the distribution box underneath? I mean how could it be? It is only brokering the signal in to out. It’s a wiring manifold of sorts so there is no frequency conversion in that connectivity.
I just dont get it.
Google is no help. It gives me everything except what I need.
Original DVD=nojoy
New DVD purchased=no joy.
Help me brothas! Hep, Hep!

Mark, I don't know if this will help on the AV wiring, but Entegra had an AV update mid 14 where there was a $3,500 up-charge mid year for that change. I believe that was the switch to all HDMI, upgraded TV and audio. Possibly that wiring diagram might help to locate the source.

After much brainstorming before I could go to sleep with two TVs not receiving the signal I’m going to try a backup cable
That’s about the only thing it could be.
If one tv worked and the other didn’t I’d be more perplexed.
The component video cables, like coax, and bnc connections broker the same signal as hdmi so if the wires are intact technically I should be able to use that same wire to make them hdmi cables with a ballon connection so the box was just easier.
I’ll update after I finish off this cup of coffee 😎
