2013 Anthem Air Conditioning problem

Our Zone # 2 keeps popping the breaker . We only run two zones at once, and zone 2 works only ( in any combination with the other two zones) when running the generator but not when hooked to shore power. We put a call into Entegra service but have not heard back as yet.. Has anyone experienced this problem?

Your 12.5KW Onan puts out 50 amps per pole, which is the same as your shore power. So there's either a problem with your shore power or the circuits that deliver it. If your voltage is low at the pedestal (needs to be checked when under load) then you'll need to correct that. If the voltage is fine at the pedestal then there is something in the connection to the pedestal that isn't allowing full current flow without a voltage drop. The generator and shore power combine at the transfer switch so it has to be prior to that. It could be bad connections or bad contacts in the transfer switch or it could be a bad wire in the plug end of the cord or it could be a bad connection in the cord reel itself.
