Good Afternoon All

The functions on our Smart Wheel (Cruise, Wipers, ICC Lights) have all stopped working.

First noticed when the cruise control would not come on. This first happened about 6 months ago while we were traveling. I tried to set the CC and it would not come on. I looked on line and found a possible issue was the connector on the steering column and under the steering wheel cover. I disconnected/reconnected both connectors and that fixed the problem.
Fast forward 3 months and the problem came back. Did the same process with the connectors again fixed the problem. 2 weeks ago it came back and tried the connector fix and it did not work this time.
Today I tried again I even went to the electronics bay and disconnected all five connectors on the VIP Smart Wheel module and reconnected them. Still no Wipers, Cruise, ICC Lights (not concerned about the radio controls) but NEED WIPERS and would REALLY like to have my Cruise Control back as our normal move day is 3 to 5 hour drives.
Could this be a Fuse? If so Where Is The Fuse Panel?
BWT... I sent an e-mail to IMMI the manufacturers of the control module as well looking on their site for trouble shooting info and wiring diagrams.

Hope someone here can point me in the direction I need to go.

FWIW; A few years ago I wad having some work done on my MH. The HDT repair shop had a rather new looking CL A MH inside with RF fender area removed to accees the SMART wheel wiring pass-through in the firewall just inside the RF wheel.
They had the multi-connetion plug removed; the pins were all green with corrosion from water intrusion.
The shop cleaned off the corrosion and restored full functions to the SMART wheel.
That was not a smart location for about 15 low-voltage connections IMO.

Check the radio controls as well. If they are also not working, there is a twisted pair CAN Bus lead insise the column/steering wheel that may be broken.

I will take a look at that. There is a four wire (about 20 gauge) harness that runs up the side of the column and attaches to the Clock Spring and then does another connections under the steering wheel cover.

But I will look for the Can/Bus cable. We are at our home base for about a month so I will do a little more digging and if I can't get it fixed I will take it to a shop on our way out to our next trip.
