2013 Aspire Bedroom Carpet

Hi all,

We bought a very gently used 2013 Aspire 42 DEQ.

We love the heated tile floors but the original owner opted for carpet in the bedroom. Itís got go... with two pets it is huge allergy collector for me.

Entegra sent me the original tile info so I am going to try to track it down. Wondering if anyone else has had the carpet replaced with tile and if so where?
Thanks and happy travels!

Welcome! Check inside your basement. There should be some extra tiles up between the chassis frame rails. Not enough to do the job but will give you some pieces to show tile vendors what you need. For that matter, maybe look at some other complimentary colors.
Good luck.

On my Travel Supreme, I replaced the entry carpet with tile. You will need to use a flexible thin set and grout. The flexible grout was a 2 part mix, don't remember the thin set. I was fortunate, TS still had my tile in stock as the coach was only a year old. Carpet was popular back then, the entire coaches were carpeted except the kitchen and baths.
For newer coach owners...that dash hasn't changed much, but I miss the double drawers

The floors most likely are not heated in the bedroom. Instead of trying to match tile that's over 7 years old, use engineered hardwood floors.
Works very well, and is much warmer to the feet than tile.

You have a great coach

Good luck!

Found the tiles!!

Bev and Tom...Sure enough the spare tiles were right where you said they were. I may be able to get a 12x24 Del Nord Alaska tile and use that.

Wondering if the coaches that have tile through out if the tile is unordered the bed as well? Anyone know???

Thanks so all the info so far.

Are you certain the carpet was not installed over the existing tile? Not sure if carpet was an option in the bedroom (maybe it was). Also, what is installed under the bed frame - is it rolling on carpet, or tile?

Hi,
This is Brent with with Texas RV Flooring & Designs. If you find the tile you're looking for I can install it and also install heated floors. Let me know if you have any questions or if I can help you in anyway. Thanks, Brent
