2013 Aspire oil filter

With the coach locked away in storage it's time to plan and order the parts for the annual service, does anyone have the Fleetguard oil filter and fuel filters part numbers and thoughts on Delvac vs Rotella ?

According to Spartan handout received at a rally, oil filter is Fleetguard LF-9009, fuel filter Primary FS 1000/FS1065 pre-fill, Secondary FF-5488/FF5636 install dry. I use Rotella but don't know why.

I was doing the same thing and if you call Spartan with your VIN they can tell you every filter number on your RV. My 2013 Aspire has the 450 ISL motor which I'm betting is same as yours uses the following;

Oil (25 Qts) 15w40
Oil filter- Fleetguard LF9009 or WIX51748XD
Fuel filter - Fleetguard FF5636 or WIX33936
Fuel/water seperator - Fleetguard FS1065 or WIX33965

Here's a reference card I made in Acrobat if anybody wants one. I am attaching a .jpg snapshot of it because that's all my iPad can do. I'm in Europe right now. Once I get home in a few days I'll make the .doc and .pdf file available if others want to modify it. I blanked out my serial numbers.

This may not be the proper thread, but it does relate to filters. My previous coach had a 350 Cummins with a 3000Allison trans. At 5,000 miles it required a filter change(gold series) and topped off with Transynd fluid. Does the 2013 Aspire; 3000 Allison transmission require the same filter change @ 5,000. Miles? Although our coach is new, there is no Allison service literature or owners manual for service intervals..Thanks for any help.. dd.

According to Dave's chart posted above...double click and enlarged the photo, the trans filter change is not due until 150,000 miles. Nice.

I printed out the enlarged photo and it is perfect size, 8.5 x 11 to go in front of my maintenance log book and manual. Nice quick reference, thanks Dave.

The transmission will tell you when it wants service through the "Prognostics" system. It alerts one when fluid or filters need changing and when clutch maintenance is required.

Are these transmissions equipped with Allison's Prognostics? If so then the display will alert you to a change if needed before 60 months. At 60 months a fluid/filter change is needed or can be extended with a fluid sample analysis.

If you don't have Prognostics then the filters are changed at 36 months. The fluid is changed at 48 months or can be extended with a fluid sample analysis

Here is the Allison calculator:
