2014 and newer Entegra fresh water plumbing question

DH and I spent some time Saturday looking at 2016's, but one thing we neglected to look at was the fresh water plumbing design.

We're used to a Manabloc in our Foretravel and research here on the forum indicated Entegra did away with that in the 2014 model year.

In the 2014 and newer coaches, is there any sort of "home run" fresh water manifold where you can isolate/turn off the individual fixtures or valves at each fixture for times you need to do maintenance/repair/upgrade? Any differences in the fresh water plumbing scheme of these recent years as well?

Thanks,

Michelle

Nothing like that on our '13 or '15. Can't speak about the newer models.

No. I have a 2015, and apparently this was eliminated on the Cornerstone after 2014. Disappointing.

Entegra had that only on the Cornerstone and it was eliminated early on. I believe in 2013. They eliminated the power window awnings at the same time.

I don't have it on my '13 Anthem and I haven't missed it. Rare that you would need it. I had it on my previous coach and only used it once in ten years.

It is a great feature that is seldom used. It is on many high end coaches(Foretravel, Newell etc). The main use is to isolate a leak to find it and allow water usage in the rest of the coach until it can be fixed. I am sure Entegra did not get many complaints when they dropped it. It is not a must have but a very nice feature to have on a high end coach that is expected to be used for years. All JMHO

That's pretty much where the question comes from. We've had our Foretravel for 12 years (almost since it was new) and are starting to think about our next coach. We plan to keep the next one just as long (or longer), but are struggling to find a coach that meets our needs. We had pretty much narrowed it down to Newmar and Entegra, with the Cornerstone currently our top pick. We're still debating, but have spent the past week at several dealers looking at many coaches as well as weeks spent on "the Interwebs".

True, the manabloc doesn't get used often, but we do appreciate having a home-run for plumbing (or at least fixture shut offs) because when you keep a coach as long as we do, it does come in handy for repairs and upgrades of plumbing fixtures that take a couple of days while you're on the road. We do almost all our own coach work.

(for those who wonder why not another Foretravel, the price point, floorplans, lack of opening windows, and lack of screen door and a few other concerns.)

Michelle
