I was wondering if anyone received the recall for the spartan steering castle nut? How serious is it and how long for someone to fix? Is it something that I can check before moving? Should I drive or have it towed? A little confused so any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi Tony,
I just had mine inspected for the same recall.. Took them about an hour. They found no issues, so all is well.
Call Spartan to recommend a shop to take it to.
It's a serious issue, so get it looked at.

Had my rig inspected today, and yes it must have the repair. After talking with the service man, I feel quite a bit safer. He relighted the castle nut while waiting on a few tools from the manufacturer. Hopefully next week before my departure. Sounds like a very straight forward fix. I will update once work is complete.
