2014s and later - Samsung Microwave

Massive recall on samsungmicrowaves. Saw it in todays paper. Going back a few years. I would call entegra or samsung and see and see what the parameters are and what is going on.

The recall is for 2002-2003 years and is for the microwave turning on by itself.

That would go back to the Travel Supreme days and they were using Sharp's back then. Best Micro/Confection we have ever used. That one was bullet proof for RV use.

I also looked for any recalls and since Entegra just started using Samsung's in the 2014 models, I think it might be to early for any recalls yet. However if problems continue when we do get our MH, I will make a call to Samsung CS.

After reading this thread I asked MHSRV to feedback and talk to Entegra.

This the reply I got, hope it is right for my new Anthem! Time will tell!!

Afternoon. Hope you are enjoying this nice Friday. So, I did talk to the rep and they did a little more research. Out of the 978 Samsungs that they purchased for their units, I guess they have heard of issues in 1.5% of them. It is just a matter of switching out a board to my understanding in the microwave. Hopefully, they are now being able to catch it at the factory so it can be a non issue. Have a great weekend and May is almost upon us. ""
