2015 Anthem 44B TV Coaxial Cable Splitter Location
Greetings all. Setting up TV in a campground in Orlando. After scanning, the main TV works fine as does the overhead drivers TV. However, after scanning, the outside and bedroom TVs are getting a signal but very bad picture. The Box of Many Buttons (BOMB) are all set to cable.
Reading other posts, I believe I read the coaxial cable routing runs from the BOMB in the fireplace cabinet out and splits to the outside and bedroom TV. I want to trace that cable run and checkout the splitter but have not been able to find the splitter or coax runs for the bedroom and outside TVs. Anybody know where that might be in the basement bays or elsewhere? Do not see a splitter in the cabinet where the BOMB is. Thanks in advance. Randy

Did you turn off the Antenna Boost? Cable will be bad with the boost turned on. Turn off the boost and re scan.

Thank You
Thanks Brobox. Looked over the passenger seat cabinet for the Antenna Booster and there is no small button or switch I can detect for the antenna booster. There is no booster button on the Wingiard Sensar OTA antenna controls in that same location. I looked in the AV cabinet above the fireplace and only grren button I can see on there is a power button for the BOMB. Any other location I can check for the antenna booster button/switch? Strange that the main TV and drivers TV work fime but the outside and bedroom TV have such a fuzzy picture. Thanks again.

On my 14 it was on the BOMB marked ANT. My 02 Travel Supreme was above the passenger seat.

Randy, on my 2014 Anthem the splitter was in the cabinet wall between the bedroom TV and the rear cabinet. The wall in the cabinet opposite of the TV cabinet can be removed and there is a splitter in that wall. I think it was Larry that posted an article a while back about this and and what frequency splitter should be used to to accommodate the HD signals. Try searching in the search box for his post, as his post are always well written with very good explanations as to what and how to do something!

If I remember right, in our 2014 44B the splitter was mounted on the lefthand wall of the electronics compartment above the fireplace right next to the BOMB. Also the antenna boost was in the BOMB. The panels on either side of the fireplace pull off, you might want to pull off the left one and see if they hid it there. The HDMIs split in the belly of the beast and are color coded with tape.
Good luck.

Echoing what others have said, coax splitter under main tv, above fire place, but I would check your HDMI splitter and swap Main(working signal) with another. I’m on HDMI splitter #2. They do fail.

The link below has the coax wiring diagram for the Winegard Trav'ler. But you will see the diagram also includes provisions for signals coming from an antenna or external cable connection.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/199k...w?usp=drivesdk
Note the signal for the Bed/Ext TV's passes thru two splitters, so the signal is attenuated more for those two sets than the others. The coax/ota antenna switch is in the wallplate over the entry door. The first and primary splitter is either somewhere near the main TV or over the entry door like on my 2017.

The second splitter that feeds the bedroom and exterior TV's, as oldguy2013 said, is probably in the partition wall, sandwiched between the bedroom TV compartment and the cabinet storage to the right. The access is from the cabinet side, you need to remove the thin wood panel (mine was attached with screws).
Photo - in this shot I have removed the splitter but you can get an idea where to look:

The issue could be a lot of things, like oxidized connections, loose connectors, crimped coax, bad or inappropriate splitter, etc. I would suggest first trying to bypass the second splitter and see if the picture quality improves. If so a signal boosting amp could be the fix.

Hello all. Just to close the loop, it was indeed a bad splitter and as predicted by several of you good folks, it was the one behind the cabinet in the bedroom TV cabinet. Replaced wirh a WalMart special and now working just fine. As always, I remain grateful for the advice given out on this excellent forum. Safe travels!!!!
