2015 Cornerstone Changes

2015 Cornerstone Changes
Just sat down with Robin (Diesel Manager) from RVOne and he went over all the new changes for the 2015 Cornerstone with me. Entegra Coach's goal is to "upgrade" the CS from the Anthem. I think this is a great move..

Interior Changes

Interior Decors
1. New- Stanford interior (removing Manhattan)

Cabinetry
1. Now have a 3rd option on Natural Cherry (much lighter than the other two woods) Great Move!!

12x24 tile floors
Upgrade on carpet
Bolder EC logo inlay at the entry tile
Premium Quartz countertops (light earth tones instead of the black granite)
Added LED accents thru-out
Oil rubbed bronze cabinet pulls
Elegant premium leather residential furniture
Upgraded Driver/Pass seats (ergonomically)
Five kitchen overhead pull out racks
Wood ceiling vent fan shrouds
LED reading lights above sofa and bed
110V/USB outlet at kitchen counter
High end faucets
Residential plumbing fixtures in bathroom
Frameless glass shower door (very Prevost like)

Individual operation of day/night shades. Yea!
Custom shoe storage in bedroom wardrobe

Energy efficient Induction Cooktop

Cockpit
JBL symphonic dash radio
Auto genstart w/Shore power relay
Red engine brake switch
USB port connection

Exterior Changes
Paint Schemes
1. Premium: Cayenne, Champagne, Electric Blue, Fire Red, Sunlit and Topaz
(have not seen any of these)
2. Gone: Molten Metal, Golden Spld, Op Black Cherry, Op Silver Eclipse

LED Lighted Awning also on Driver's side (cool)
LED lights underside curbside slide-out rooms
Industry first motion sensor security light surrounding coach
LED storage compartment lights
LED back-up lights
10" SS Trim package
Heavier windshield arms with larger sweep area
60MM Bilstein front shocks

Standard
Ceiling fan in bedroom

New Options
Canadian satellite (Shaw)
100" sofa with two ottomans for B floor-plan only

Gone
Desk, Euro chairs, Booth Dinette

Floor-plans

45J, 45K, 45B

Order's and now being taken for the 2015 models

Most of those do sound like some nice upgrades. Thank you for sharing that information, it does come from a good source.

Nope! And I am one of those people that thinks Comfort Steer is a waste of money.
Cornerstone never planned on added CS.

Spend a full day behind the wheel (not just a test drive) with a good cross wind and you will THINK differently.

I don't have CD or even IFS - I guess I can see your point, but really - if things are that bad, and you don't have to be somewhere at a certain time, just take the day off - who cares... I know I have stayed an extra day here and there because I was a weather "chicken". Even the CG guy when I added an extra day said - "what, you afraid of the weather forecast..."

Look, if I have the time, better safe than sorry - just say'in...

Sounds like some nice changes. The big question is going to be "what is the new price?"

Given the fact that Entegra builds a relatively small number of Cornerstones, which sell quickly (just try to get a test drive), I wouldn't be surprised at all to see a significant price bump.

If there isn't one, I might be inclined to cancel my order on the 2014 I have and go with the 2015 model. When are they introducing 2015 units?

Nice to know I am getting a tail end 2014, hopefully all of the model year's bugs have all been worked out.

The reason why I am now considering a Cornerstone, is because of these wonderful changes.
The 2015 price went up only $10,000!! for the CS, I thought (and the rummor was) the price would be much higher.

ETA for all 2015 models May/June

Late model 2014s will have most of the upgrades. There is one at Tampa show for Lazy Days.
