2015 Entegra Anthem (Disappointed)

We ordered an 2015 44B Anthem a few weeks ago after seeing the 2014 at Lazy Days in Tampa. We were told the 2015 was the same with a few additions. Our sales person called to let us know there was a 2015 on their lot. We drove down to see it and thought we were were entering the wrong coach. The entry was changed from the beautiful tile that matched the tile flooring to a cheap looking molded entry that didn't even match the color of the tile flooring. We are so disappointed. I'll try to post a picture of both entries to see what you think. If they don't attach email me and I will send them. [email] minibts@aol.com

Would like to see. very disappointing if true. Are you talking about the steps or the area around the pilot and co-pilot seats?

Are you talking about the entry steps or the flooring of the cab?

I just looked at a 2015 Anthem 42DEQ yesterday at Richardson RV in Menifee, Ca... The steps inside the coach leading down to the outside metal steps are all tile.... Something doesn't sound right... I too would like to see the photos.

Sounds like a "bait & switch" is surfacing.

Increase profits by reducing costs, quality and overhead.

2015 Entegra Anthem (Disappointed)

I suspect that the legal dept may have had some input into this. The flexible tread with grooves is more forgiving in all condition but particularly wet ones. The fact that it's no doubt cheaper just means there was less internal resistance to the change. There may have been some event that drove this change.

Yes, the top photo is the 2015 and the bottom photo is the 2014. I have contacted Entegra and spoke with customer service and their head of sales trying to get them to alter our Anthem to the 2014 entry and wish all that agree that the change looks cheap and is very unattractive would contact Entegra also.

I do like the new big logo and I have already carpeted my steps covering the tile anyway. The almost white tile showed every speck of dirt. I am sure Entegra was trying the get away from the "always looked dirty" look. I kind of like the dark leading edge that won't show the dirt as bad. JMO.

Let us know what they say in regards to your request, it will be interesting to know if they will do a custom modification for a customer having one built.

If so, we will be happy to sign any legal form stating our responsibility for the change to the beautiful tile over the Bounder type entry.
