2015 Entegra with fr night shade issue

What brand of shades are in the EC? The AutoMotion shades in the American Coach seem to have the same problem. We have one in the living room that is jacked up and won't go up or down most of the time.

They have used United Shades and MCD shades. They went to MCD exclusively in 2015 I think.

Our '15 has United Shade. Think the switch to MCD was for the '16 model year.

2014 and 2015 had United Shades with Yellow motors that did not have a programming button. In late 2015 they came out with a Red replacement motor that had a push button programming button. In 2016 with the new body style change it was announced they had gone back to MCD shades.

Entegra switching back to MCD shades must have solved the problem as I do not see any of the new owners having shade motor problems, only the Classics.

Good Luck with your Shades! We just bought a used 2012, having Shade issues (some not working and some not in sync with each other). Looks like from the previous/original owner, they had the same issues. It is headed to Entegra at the end of week. Hopefully, things can get resolved.

The 2012 I believe had the original MCD shades. Just my opinion, but it might just be age causing the problem. Let us know what Entegra finds with a 2012 shades and the cause. It might help another 2012 owner down the road.
