I'm glad so many enjoy the newer couches but I am curious.
Seems like most abhor the L couch, the few times we've sit/sat on them they seem fine. It's one of the things we like about either the DEQ or 44B style of floor plans.
What happens?
Do the springs give way and you feel the bed frame underneath? Or the backrest not supportive?
The new custom couches all look really nice but my preferred viewing angle for tv is laying down. I think we are willing to accept a narrower walkway when the L couch is stowed.

2016 44B L shaped couch replacement
Try sitting on the portion back in the corner that the L slides under for travel. It has a 2x4 long ways just under the cushion that supports the slide. It is very uncomfortable to sit, lay on and proved to be a big deal for us as my wife likes to lay to watch tv also. The rest of the couch is fine and stands up well to use. JMHO

We had a 13 Aspire DEQ with the L sofa and thought it was fine. When we moved to the 16 Anthem 44B we went with the 100" sofa which for us was the best bet. It has a recliner on one end and a queen bed underneath. I am not sure if you can get this sofa in the newer models because of the recliners not included but if you can it is worth it in my opinion.

The L shaped couch is just flat uncomfortable in short L side. The recliner back is not movable. I want a recliner and wife want recliner. Don't like the drink holds in the middle,I like to lay down to. I still have not did something different on mine yet. I haven't really looked yet but how is it mounted to the floor?? I sure it's easy enough though??
