2016 Anthem - passenger day shade front

Here’s a weird one. 2016 Anthem. Day shade on passenger front window goes up by itself. We’ve been stationary for about a week and the shade’s gone up twice on its own this morning. Any clues?

Do you have a pet that is standing on the switch beside either front seat?

Try shutting the 12v power off to do a control board reboot.

Thanks brobox, I’ll give that a try. It happened twice today while I was watching, but hasn’t happened since. I’ll reboot next time and see if that stops it.

I have a 2016 Anthem 44B and I have the same issue with that shade. When in storage, I would put the shade down and the next day it would be up. It appears to only happen when the sun strongly hits the passenger side. Not only is the shade motor on that side but the control board for the shades is behind the compartment above the entry door. I think the heat on the control board may be the culprit. It has never affected the night shade however.

These machines are full of little gremlins running through the systems causing grief.

Possible faulty shade switch on driver's side console? Maybe some spillage, rain water, or dust. Try contact cleaner.

Hmmmm. It was sunny the day it occurred. I’ll keep that in mind if it happens again. Thanks for the tip.
