It will be sooner. Originally was slated for fall but they are trying to move it up as early as possible.

It takes time to do the correct engineering transfers when moving a floorplan from the Cornerstone to an Anthem. Five weeks just for engineering and then they will build a prototype off-line. After that the run of the fist 44A Anthems will hit the line.

Sure would be nice if they had a 44A made in time to take to Hershey in mid September. That's about the only chance we will have for "looking" in preparation for buying shortly afterwards.

UPDATE on our Anthem 44A.

We were notified this week of a TENTATIVE ship to dealer date of October 6th.

Oh and YES getting very excited plus making plans to get to the factory during the build.

We chose Beachstone for the exterior after many years of the hot black paint on the top of our currnt coach we really wanted a light exterior paint.
Interior we chose Windsor glazed woodwork & Mocha based on 2015 availability. Mocha is not offered in 2016 Anthems so we are still discussing interior and thankfully have 2-3 weeks before crunch time !
Frankly our greatest concern is the fabric headboard and hoping to resolve that 2016 change .

The beachstone is a good looking color, should be easy to keep cool(although with our electtric blue we have not had any cooling issues yet) I cant wait till yours is delivered you know I will find an excuse to go to tampa and see it.

We have an 16 Anthem RBQ on order. We would also like to go with a solid wood headboard and not the fabric.

We are not wild about the fabric headboard either. Most people store the factory bedspread and buy something they like. Now when you do that, you are sorta stuck with the headboard that matches the old factory bedspread.

As an alternative to having someone build a new wooden headboard, you could carefully remove the trim and pull the upholstered panel and have it recovered with something that suits your taste...maybe the Ultraleather from the couch. A few finish nails, a little putty and a little stain and you are good to go.

Regarding the headboard fabric it would be really nice if Entegra is listening and would change back to the wood headboard ! That is the one change that none of us seem to like while understandably other changes we have individual tastes and likes or dislikes.

Tom, sounds like a plan !

I look for changes to the headboard to show up in the "show us your Mods" post in the very near future.

Here's another vote for the return of the wood headboard, in case Entegra is listening. I'm already talking to Precision about making this mod if the factory doesn't make the change back to wood before delivery.
