2017 Anthem outlet not working

The a.c. outlet in the bay has stopped working. I have checked for a blown fuse but can't find anything that might be labeled for the bay outlet. This is my 4th trip and I have used it each time before. Can someone suggest what I might try

Thanks
Danae

Have you checked all the other outlets and looked for GFIC outlets that may be tripped?

If everything listed above checks out properly open the outlet up (power removed) and check for improperly seated or loose wires. The plugs used in RV's are not the same as used in your house.

I don't know what year coach you have, but on the Classics, the ground fault plug is next to the water filter on the back wall. Push the button and reset the ground fault. Are all of the basement outlet out or just one?

Are you running on shore power or inverters?

On our '17 NONE of the basement outlets are powered by the inverters. I'm not sure if this is good or bad as it hasn't been a problem for us yet. The one exception seems to be the one that the cable/sat connections or boosters are plugged into.

With shore power they all work.

The "basement" has its own breaker in the panel above the drivers seat. Its a GFI. None on the outlets in the basement are GFI outlet style like you would see in a bathroom or kitchen outlet.

Could have sworn we had some basement outlets on the '14 that worked via the inverters.

Jeanne,

All your basement outlets on your 2014 worked off the inverter.

Ok....so the OP has a 2017 and hasn't checked back in on this thread. My guess is that he used the outlets while plugged in to shore power and then tried to use them again while not plugged in.

Even if the OP doesn't care I learned that the basement plugs are totally different on the newer models. Glad that I learned something from this post.

One of the first mods I did on the 17 was to power the basement from the inverter panel. Missed the dustpan when not plugged in.

Easy mod, just moved the breaker from one panel to the other.

John,

Good job. I can't figure out why with two inverters on the Anthem and Cornerstone they took all those basement plugs off the inverter and put them on shore power only in the later year models. Makes no sense.

That sounds like a mod worth doing. Especially for folks that boon dock a lot.
