I wonder what would happen if any of us had an accident in a state where we were over the limits. I can hear the attorney now, "Were you illegal in our state? Answer yes or no!" Just saying that it could be an issue.
IMO the issue is addressed too late if you are involved with the TV attorneys. Just say "yes" and pull out your wallet.

Perhaps it is time for an RV association to get the lawmakers setting new lengths and applying them uniformly across jurisdictions. They are uniform across all of the interstates albeit on the low side compared to some states.
